Quiet day at home

Logan was at school today - he and his friend Nicky were soooo excited to meet up at the bus stop this morning!!  They really love being around each other, even if they might be arguing half the time over who gets what toy.  Oh well, that's just what 4 and 5 year old boys do!  We didn't do anything exciting today - groceries, went to the bank then home and made some phone calls.  Then Avery and I got to do the best thing in the world - have an afternoon nap.  Ahhh...gotta love cuddling up under layers of blankets for a nice long nap on a cold winter day.  Heavenly!

Pic for the day.  Cosmo and his "baby".  Poor baby has been shown some tough love in the week or two he's been around.  The poor thing is now minus two eyes, a collar and a few other accessories along with several patches of fur.  He gets tons of attention though - Cozzie carries him everywhere.  It's so cute!

I'm going to try and incorporate a new idea here as well.  I always forget the funny, cute and downright silly things that Logan says - even though I thought I'd always remember them.  So, I'm going to start including a quote or funny little thing from him each day (or when I think of it!).  I'll include some cuteness from Avery, too.

Logan funny:

After being told to start getting undressed for bed...
Him - (head down and nose scrunched up)  "Mommy - I've never heard such a bunch of naughty talkers like you and daddy!"

me - "what do you mean?  I'm naughty because I told you it was time to get ready for bed?"

him - "yes!  Sometimes when you talk to me, it makes me VERY disappointmented."

  1. Oh, I love it when dogs have babies. That's so sweet. Mags likes to curl up with a Cabbage Patch Doll. One of these days I'll post a pic of it. Sweet photo!
